Development status
Samjin LND designs molds and injection-molds plastic hydrogen tank liners. We are pursuing ISO 11119-3 and TPED certification for complete Type 4 transportable tanks incorporating those liners. The certification scope does not cover liners as standalone products. These tanks will not be offered for sale until certification is complete, but we welcome early inquiries and partnership discussions.
Why the liner matters

Plastic substantially reduces liner weight compared with conventional metal designs, improving range and payload efficiency in drones and other mobility applications.
Our mold design and injection molding expertise provide the dimensional precision and material uniformity required at ultra-high pressure. With every process kept in-house, we eliminate quality variation at the source.
We are pursuing ISO 11119-3 and European TPED certification for Type 4 transportable hydrogen tanks using our liner. Certification covers the complete tank, not the liner alone.
Development & Certification
Liner design validation is complete. We are now preparing for certification of the Type 4 transportable hydrogen tank.

ScheduledEuropean Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED).
ScheduledTransportable Pressure Equipment Directive
The EU directive governing transportable pressure equipment. Applicable equipment must meet its conformity assessment requirements before being placed on the EU market.
Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road
ADR sets requirements for the international carriage of dangerous goods by road, covering both equipment and transport operations.
The π-mark indicates conformity of transportable pressure equipment under TPED. Transport operations must also comply with the applicable ADR requirements.

Potential applications
Once the tank is certified, the liner's applications will expand to mobile storage vessels, green hydrogen infrastructure, and hydrogen-powered drones.

Mobile Storage
Ultra-lightweight storage vessels support flexible hydrogen supply to refueling stations while improving transport efficiency.

Green H₂ Storage
Lightweight liners for long-term storage of green hydrogen produced from renewable energy.

Drone / UAV
Ultra-lightweight hydrogen storage modules for long-range fuel cell drones. Minimizing weight helps extend flight range.
